From the front the car looks planted; from the side the nose stops looking like it was cut off at the bumper. And because it replaces rather than sits on top, there is no visible joint, no line of tape, no second lip stacked under the first. From a metre away it reads as the car's own chin. That is the whole point of the replacement format and it is worth saying plainly, because it is the thing a photograph actually shows.
